KELLY BROWN AND RICHARD HETTINGER

Robert and Sara Brown of Thousand Oaks, Calif. would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Kelly Elaine Brown to Richard Robert Hettinger.

The bride-to-be was a resident of Thousand Oaks until she graduated from Los Angeles Pierce College receiving an AA degree in Veterinary Technology. She relocated to Dayton, Nv where she is currently employed as the nursing supervisor of a critical care veterinary Hospital in Carson City, Nv.

The groom-to-be is from Berwick, Penn. Where he completed high school and entered the Air Force. After meeting Kelly, Rick moved to Nevada where he is self-employed. Kelly and Rick both love raising and caring for animals and have almost a zoo at their home in Dayton, Nv.

Kelly and Rick will be married on July 28, 2007 at the Delta Saloon and Casino in Virginia City, Nv. with reception to follow. The Matron of honor will be the bride's twin sister, Nicole Reed. The bridesmaids will be her sister Pamela Hilton and Dr. Jody Hicks. Rick's best man will be Jerry Boucher with attendants Cody Johnson, Rick's son, and Eric Saxty and Chris Hilton.

Virginia City is an 1860's Gold Rush town and the wedding party will be attired in western wear. The guests are encouraged to go western also. Kelly and Rick plan to honeymoon in Hawaii.


SARAH KRAFT AND BRIAN PALMER

Sarah Louise Kraft and Brian Clark Palmer are excited to announce their engagement! They will be getting married on August 19th, 2007, at Whisper-N-Oaks in Junction City, Oregon.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin & Donna Kraft of Camarillo California, and Cheryl & David Jessup of John Day, Oregon. Sarah is a 2004 graduate of California State University at Channel Islands where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

The groom-to-be is the son of Lynn Palmer of Springfield, Oregon, and Roger & Angela Palmer of San Lorenzo, California. Brian is a 2000 graduate of the University of Puget Sound where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing.

The happy couple met on Myspace in October 2005 and met in person for the first time when Brian flew to California in February 2006. They became engaged the following October and are planning to live in Oregon.

Sarah is currently working at PacificSource in Springfield. Brian is a published novelist and freelance writer who also currently heads up the sponsorship program for India Partners, a Christian non-profit organization.
