MEGAN GORCEY AND MOISES ESPINOZA

David & Judith Gorcey of Oxnard are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Elizabeth Gorcey, to Moises Espinoza, son of Jesse & Ophelia Grewal of Oxnard.

Megan graduated from Oxnard High School in 2000 and attended Ventura College. She later transferred to California State University, San Marcos majoring in Liberal Studies. She graduated, Cum Laude in 2006. Megan is currently working for the San Marcos and Oceanside School Districts.

Moises graduated from Oxnard High School in 2000 and attended Ventura College as well. He transferred to San Diego State University, majoring in Economics and graduated in 2005. Moises is currently working in Escondido, California as a bank manager for Union Bank of California.

Moises & Megan were engaged on January 1, 2007 and are planning a late August wedding at the Pierpont Inn in Ventura.

LAURA HORGAN AND CHRIS HOPPER

Jack and Diane Horgan of Thousand Oaks proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Horgan, to Chris J. Hopper, son of Terry and Frannie Hopper of Goodyear, Arizona, formerly of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and grandson of Gerald Hopper of La Pine, Oregon.

The bride-to-be attended Westlake High and Pierce College, and holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Psychology from California Lutheran University.

She was elected to PSI CHI National Honor Society in Psychology. She is presently studing for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University in San Diego. She is also employed as a therapist at an upscale drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility in Escondido.

The groom-to-be attended Thousand Oaks High. He served for four years with the United States Marines, and recently returned from his third deployment in the Middle East, completing his service as a Corporal and Platoon Leader. He is currently employed in security services with Lomis Security in San Diego. After a July 7, 2007 wedding in La Jolla, they will honeymoon at Sandals Jamaica and make their home in Vista, California.
